Weber Middle School Eighth Grade Graduation 2001
On June 21, Weber's class of 2001 had its graduation.
We were lucky that the weather held out. Ann Sue Israel was the guest speaker.
Her message to the eighth grade is that we should all be equally kind to
each other. Principal, Matthew Sanzone, gave a similar message. He hopes
that the students will be accepting of each other. President of the board,
Richard Sussman, spoke about family and hopes that students will speak
with them through the upcoming years. Your parents are your best friends.
Red house students, Ashley and Lindsay, read a
beautiful poem they wrote about their experience at Weber Middle School.
Green house student, Rebecca, spoke about how Weber was a transition for
all of them and that there will be many transitions throughout their lives.
Blue house student, Halsey, sang and spoke about her experience at Weber.
The ceremony ended with red, green, and blue balloons
being let off into the air.
